Thyme is the most famous Greek honey in the world. A product of the richly biodiverse Greek nature, it is a delight for the palate, but also a superfood with unique health benefits. Its distinctive aroma, amber color, delicate texture, and sweet taste provide well-being and enjoyment. With a high thyme pollen count and precious ingredients such as polyphenols and phenolic acids, it has demonstrated antioxidant and healing effects, and it provides a boost to the immune system. We guarantee our honey’s elevated biofunctionality by implementing beekeeping practices that meet the highest standards of sustainable and environmentally friendly processes.

Origin
Harvested from the thyme-grown hills of the verdant island of Andros – thyme is emblematic of the island. Andros, a place of unparalleled natural beauty, is a study in geographical contrasts, as it combines the dry Cycladic landscape with lush vegetation and plentiful waters. Under the clear Cycladic sky, bees feast on thyme that grows wild on the most barren hillsides. The arid landscape enhances the honey’s aromatic and flavor characteristics. Our beehives are placed in organically grown areas with native herbaceous vegetation so that bees have unhindered access to the most nutritious nectar.
